ResumoRecordable MiniDisc system adopts the magnetic field modulation direct oveIWrite method. This method has been realized by newly developed MO layer which has uniform perpendicular magnetization and lower saturation magnetic field SONY recordable:MD employs a four layer structure, SiN, ThFeCo, SiN, and AI as same as SONY conventional MO (5.25" and 3.5").The differences between them are studied in terms of the temperature dependencies of 8 k, Hc and Hs(saturation field).Hs of recordable :MD at close to Cmie temperature is less than 8kNm, as a result, C/N far exceeds 46dB at 81cNm and the canier level is almost flat over 4kNm This high C/N and wide power margin(over + 20 %) support the reliable recording and playback for MiniDisc system .
