Magnetic confinement fusion research

The discrepancy in the K/sup +/-p cross section sigma /sub p/, that of obtaining sigma /sub p/= 12,9 plus or minus 1.0 mb at2.4 Bev/c and 24.5 plus or minus 2.5 mb at 2.9 Bev/c, is explained. Graphical and tabular data and corrections are given, and a diagram of the apparatus is presented. (L.N.N.)
