The reaction of silylated cyclopentadienyllithium compounds with lead(II) chloride yields the yellow, crystalline plumbocenes I, II and III with two, four and six trimethylsilyl groups. The stability of these π-complexes against oxidation and thermal decay increases with increasing number of silyl substituents. Die Umsetzung von silylierten Cyclopentadienyllithium-Verbindungen mit Blei(II)chlorid liefert die gelben, kristallinen Plumbocene I, II und III mit zwei, vier und sechs Trimethylsilylgruppen. Die Stabilität dieser π-Komplexe gegenüber Oxidation und thermischem Zerfall steigt mit zunehmender Anzahl der Silylsubstituenten.
