ResumoGroupware is developed for organizing the cooperative discussion on design and management by a number of participants. A distributed and cooperative KJ method support system has been developed. The KJ method is a kind of bottom-up method to orientate cooperative work towards the development of new ideas and has been successfully applied to the development of new products in industrial companies in Japan. The ideas proposed by the participants are classified into groups according to their similarity on a HyperCard with Timbuktu software. The HyperCards are linked to each other. As an example of the implementation, discussion on the design of students' experiments for the use of modern computers is described.
