ResumoRecently proposed rare decays Z\ensuremath{'}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}${\mathrm{f}}_{1}$f${\mathrm{\ifmmode\bar\else\textasciimacron\fi{}}}_{2}$V (with V=W or Z and ${\mathrm{f}}_{1,2}$ ordinary fermions and the forward-backward asymmetry are found to be sensitive diagnostic tests for the gauge coupling ratio ${\mathrm{g}}_{\mathrm{R}}$/${\mathrm{g}}_{\mathrm{L}}$ in left-right symmetric models (${\mathrm{SU}}_{2\mathrm{L}}$\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}${\mathrm{SU}}_{2\mathrm{R}}$\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}${\mathrm{U}}_{1(\mathrm{B}\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}\mathrm{L})}$). At projected luminosities of the CERN Large Hadron Collider and the Superconducting Super Collider, ${\mathrm{g}}_{\mathrm{R}}$/${\mathrm{g}}_{\mathrm{L}}$ can be determined statistically to \ensuremath{\sim}1% for ${\mathrm{M}}_{\mathrm{Z}\ensuremath{'}}$\ensuremath{\simeq}1 TeV. The absence of related decays ${\mathrm{W}}^{\ensuremath{'}\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}$\ensuremath{\rightarrow}${\mathrm{f}}_{1}$f${\mathrm{\ifmmode\bar\else\textasciimacron\fi{}}}_{2}$${\mathrm{W}}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}$ would be a clean signature that W\ensuremath{'} couples to right-handed currents. Once ${\mathrm{g}}_{\mathrm{R}}$/${\mathrm{g}}_{\mathrm{L}}$ is determined, the ratio ${\mathrm{M}}_{\mathrm{Z}\ensuremath{'}}$/${\mathrm{M}}_{\mathrm{W}\ensuremath{'}}$ and the decays Z\ensuremath{'}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}${\mathrm{W}}^{+}$${\mathrm{W}}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$(${\mathrm{W}}^{\ensuremath{'}\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}$\ensuremath{\rightarrow}${\mathrm{W}}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}$Z) provide probes for the symmetry breaking sector.
