It can be regularly visualized using image intensification and recorded on spot-films obtained by a special technique. The relationship between the electrode of the transvenous pacemaker and the epicardial fat indicates the relationship between the electrode and the myocardium. If the separation is less than 3 mm, penetration has occurred. Of 33 patients examined, 11 demonstrated some degree of penetration.Article HistoryAccepted: Sept 1970Published in print: Jan 1971 FiguresReferencesRelatedDetailsCited ByElectrocardiography findings in right ventricular apical pacingXShen, CHSia, KKPoh, WHuang, KLHo1 October 2020 | Singapore Medical Journal, Vol. 61, No. 10Inadvertent malposition of a permanent pacemaker ventricular lead into the left ventricle which was initially missed and diagnosed two years later: a case reportMedhat FZaher, Basem NAzab, Marc BBogin, Soad GBekheit9 February 2011 | Journal of Medical Case Reports, Vol. 5, No. 1Interventricular cardiac resynchronization with right ventricular apical pacing in a patient with Ebstein's defectStefanoMaffe, AntonelloPerucca, PaolaPaffoni, FabianaSignorotti, Nicolò FranchettiPardo, PierfrancoDellavesa, UmbertoParravicini, FrancoZenone, Anna MariaPaino, MassimoBielli, FedericoCarola, MarcoZanetta2008Jun1 | Journal of Cardiovascular Medicine, Vol. 9, No. 6Right Bundle Branch Block Like Pattern Recorded in Right Ventricular Endocardial PacingMasahiroOhnuki, KazuhikoMiyataka, TakehikoNakamura, YoshinobuOhnishi, YoshizumiKohnoike, MasayukiTsujimoto, ReirouShiroyama23 August 2012 | Journal of Arrhythmia, Vol. 21, No. 3Safe right bundle branch block pattern during permanent right ventricular pacingYung-NienYang, Wei-HsianYin, Mason ShingYoung2003Jan1 | Journal of Electrocardiology, Vol. 36, No. 1The Intensive Care ChestE.
