ResumoThe metal does the trick! Atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) of cobalt atoms is used as an accurate method to determine the cellular uptake and nuclear localization of metal bioconjugates. Surprisingly, the PNA conjugates show highest uptake efficiency, and an accumulation 150 % higher than in the culture medium is achieved.
