ResumoThe millimeter wave spectrum of the ground state of deuterochloroform, CDCl3, was measured in the frequency range from 100 to 200 GHz. The K structures of the rotational lines were well resolved with values of K ≤ 15. Least squares analyses of the observed data show that only P2 and P4 terms are significant. From the K structures the distortion constant DJK = −2.314 ± 0.006 kHz was determined, while the K = 0 intercepts yielded DJ = 1.414 ± 0.005 kHz. The rotational constant BO = 3250.292 ± 0.0015 MHz was obtained from the J = 0 intercept.
