ResumoFor the noctuids Polia atlantica (Grote), Pseudaletia unipuncta (Haworth) and the pyralid Loxostege chortalis (Grote), defined synthetic sex attractants were demonstrated in which optimal co-attractant effect was reached below 1% content. Additional trace components increased the attraction of each of the noctuids. Some problems in the use of sex lures involving trace components are discussed.
