Resumo

In order to evaluate the feasibility of fuel cells with proton conducting solid-electrolyte ceramics, the proton conductivity of sintered samples of BaZr0.9Y0.1O3−δ was measured with impedance spectroscopy. The processing parameters and stoichiometry strongly affect the proton conductivity of the material. Considerable analogy has been shown between doped cerates and doped zirconates.
