Resumo

Abstract Females and males of Amblyseius thwaitei sp. n. from Ulmus glabra Huds. in the central tablelands of New South Wales and of Amblyseius bayviewensis sp. n. from Syncarpia glomulifera (Sm.) Niedenzu are described and figured. The two new species were found in association with phytophagous mites on the undersides of leaves. They resemble each other closely and are best compared with A. bellinus Womersley.
