ResumoThis paper evaluates a new framework named CARIMBO proposed to the return path on the digital television through simulation method. The framework presents an alternative way to achieve interactivity on Digital Television according to the local infra-structure resources. The utilization of this resource in areas with no telecommunication infrastructure, like the Amazonian region, creates a perspective of integration for the native people to the digital inclusion programs organized by federal government. In order to evaluate the feasibility of this proposal the Network Simulator (NS-2) and an experimental wireless outdoor network (WLACA) was used.
