ResumoThe homopolymer of epichlorohydrin (CHR) and copolymers with ethylene oxide (EO) were investigated as ion-conducting matrix. EO contents in the copolymers were 0, 24, 48, and 63 mol%. When doped with LiClO4, the conductivities were ca 10−6 S cm−1. Mixing with oligo(EO) increased them to 10−5 S cm−1. To obtain single ionic conductors, two polyelectrolytes carrying Li or Na were synthesized from oligo(EO), and mixed to the polymers. The transference numbers were found to be 0.97, while that of the polymer doped with LiClO4 was 0.55.
