Synthesis and characterization of novel inorganic/organometallic compounds

Dinuclear “titanocene” [CPTi]2(C10H8,H,H) reacts with carboxylic acids with replacement of its three bridges by four carboxylato bridges. The structure of the resulting formiato complex, [CpTi(OCOH)2]2, has been determined by X-ray crystallography.
