A simple, inexpensive automated procedure is described for the determination of plasma or serum glucose. The procedure is linear, specific for reducing sugars and correlates well with o-toluidine procedures. It may be adopted by laboratories currently using the ferricyanide reduction technique without the purchase of new equipment.
