Clark M.D., J.D. Dr. Clark obtained his medical degree from the University of Colorado in 1969. He completed a pediatric residency at the University of Kansas and then served two years active duty in the United States Army at Ft. Leavenworth. From 1974 through June 1986, he was in private pediatric practice in Joplin, Missouri. He finished a neonatal-prenatal fellowship at the university of Missouri in June 1988 and has remained on the faculty in the School of Medicine. Dr. Clark's interest in teaching resident physicians about life-support issues and bioethics led to a law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law in May 1992. He is a member of the Missouri Bar.
