SIR MICHAEL BALCON has had some twenty years of experience in English films, being production head of Gainsborough Pictures, which he founded, later of Gaumont-British, and now of Ealing Studios. Among his productions have been A Yank at Oxford, The Overlanders, Tight Little Island, I Know Where I'm Going, Kind Hearts and Coronets, and The Amazing Mr. Beecham.
