ResumoTrip Hawkins is the founder and CEO of Digital Chocolate and a leading publisher of social games, including Millionaire City and Zombie Lane. He played a key role in defining the personal computer as one of the first Apple employees from 1978 to 1982. He founded Electronic Arts in 1982 and built the company into a industry leader, serving as its first CEO and chair of the board from 1982 to 1994. He then founded 3DO, a pioneer in digital video, network gaming, and social communities. Being the author of three patents, Hawkins introduced the concept of game development as a creative art form and the use of celebrities and athletes in video games. His design credits include award-winning best sellers such as John Madden Football, Army Men, M.U.L.E., Doctor J and Larry Bird Go One on One, and High Heat Baseball. Hawkins created the first college degree in video games, graduating magna cum laude from Harvard University with a degree in strategy and applied game theory. He was the first, and is still the only, business executive to be inducted into the Hall of Fame by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.
