Resumo

Lyotropic lamellar phases under shear flow form structures corresponding to different steady states of orientation. In this letter, we show that dielectric measurements in different directions can be used to characterize the organisation of the system. Two examples with different ionic surfactants are given and the low-frequency conductivity behaviour is discussed in each steady state. The results are then analysed in terms of a geometric model to emphasize the role of defects.
