Regional Socio-Economic Development Trends

The role of local planning organs in the development of the economy of districts and cities is growing with each passing year. In the process of fulfilling the decree of the Central Committee of the CPSU "On Measures for Further Improving the Work of District and City Soviets of Workers' Deputies" and the law of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic concerning city and city-district Soviets of workers' deputies of the RSFSR, the Novorossiisk City Planning Commission has become more actively involved in questions relating to the planning of the development of the municipal economy.
