ResumoA new bibenzyl cannabinoid has been isolated as a minor component from the ether extract of the liverwort Radula perrottetii. Its structure was established by spectral means and by comparing its spectral data with those of an authentic compound which had been previously synthesized. A new bisbibenzyl, isoperrottetin A, has also been isolated from the same species, along with three known bisbibenzyls, six prenyl bibenzyls, three sesquiterpenoids and δ-tocopherol. The structures were established by spectral means and chemical evidence.
