ResumoAfghanistan has once again had to cope with a cholera epidemic, with most cases reported in the town of Tashkurgan in the northern province of Samangan. According to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), 784 people were affected during a 2-week period (June 28—July 14, 2001).
