ResumoWhen I was little, my father left us for distant America. After that, my mind was full of dreams and expectations about America. I thought of Disneyland, which I liked a lot, the majestic Niagara Falls, and the Statue of Liberty; and the good things Father told us about America in his letters further fueled my admiration. I wanted to have wings and to fly immediately to America, which had always occupied my mind.
