Resumo

Abstract Ferruginol a precursor for taxodionesynthesis, was prepared by the coupling of C(10) units between 2-(phenylsulfonylmethyl)-1,3,3-trimethylcyclohexane and 3-isopropyl-4-methoxybenzyl bromide followed by desulfonation and acid-catalyzed cyclization.
