The surface tension of water in contact with its saturated vapor has been measured using the Wilhelmy detachment method over the temperature range 20–100°C. Boiling points lower than 100°C are obtained at reduced pressures. Values for the first and second derivations, ∂γ∂T and ∂2γ∂T2, are reported.
