ABSTRACT From the study of the middle alluvial terraces of the Lot we have got precisions on their stratigraphy and datation. The archaeological sites they contain belong to the Middle Pleistocene and bring new data on the technological characteristics of the lithic remains left by the first inhabitants of Aquitain basin.
