Resumo

Temperature and field dependence of the critical current density J c and its anisotropy in chemical vapor deposition processed (CVD) YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7 films deposited on SrTiO 3 (100) substrates were measured by a 4-probe resistive method. A kink in the temperature dependence of J c was found for B ⊥ c , while there was no kink in J c for B // c . This kink can be explained as the dimensional crossover effect from three-dimensional (3D) pinning to two-dimensional (2D) pinning. Below the temperature at which the kink appears, the 2D pinning affects the J c properties. The pinning model for 3D and 2D cases is explored, considering the extrinsic pinning and the intrinsic one, respectively.
