ResumoThe spatial structure of zooplanktonic assemblage from Samambaia Lake, state of Goiás, Brazil, was studied, in two seasons, to analyze the stability and persistence of this assemblage. Nine sites were sampled along a transect on longitudinal axis of the water-body. A suction pump was used to filter 1000 L of water in a net with a mesh of 70 µm. Stability was measured by the Spearman rank correlations. In general, the assemblage was stable considering the patterns of abundance distribution. However, assemblage persistence was small, showing a distinct species composition in each period analyzed
