Resumo[1] In the paper “Transport of north China air pollution by midlatitude cyclones: Case study of aircraft measurements in summer 2007” by A. Ding et al. (Journal of Geophysical Research, 114, D08304, doi:10.1029/2008JD011023, 2009), there were two text errors. [2] The first sentence of the second paragraph of section 3.2 should read, “In the current work, we used a modified WRF/FLEXPART model, developed by Jerome Fast of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory on the basis of FLEXPART 5.0 (J. D. Fast and R. C. Easter, A Lagrangian particle dispersion model compatible with WRF, paper presented at the 7th WRF Users' Workshop, Natl. Cent. for Atmos. Res., Boulder, Colo., 19–22 June 2006) to conduct backward Lagrangian particle simulations.” [3] The fourth sentence in the acknowledgments section should read, “We also thank Jerome Fast of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory for the development and release of FLEXPART for WRF.”
