The metabolism between man and nature is always recreated, with implications for new social forms. One of these forms is the way the body is used and disciplined. Because this, we question: How determinates the body form in the capitalist society? To understand this thematic, we try to understand how the body form is established and which is the contributions of Physical Education like a knowledge camp, has in this context. This theoretical text based on a literature review shows like its principal result the influence of work over the determination of body’s form. Keywords: Body. Discipline. Capitalism.
