Resumo

This article refers to the characterization of Las Quemas site lithic assemblage (Cisnes river valley, Aisén region, 44o S) and its first radiocarbon date.This site is a cave with rock art, located in the forest-steppe transition and was first excavated in 1996 by Francisco Mena.
