ResumoIn 1946 Wilkerson and Krall (1947) carried out the first community diabetes survey.They tested 70.60% of the population of 4,983 in Oxford, Massachusetts, and found 40 known cases of diabetes and 30 new cases.The total incidence was 1.4%,'.In Newmarket, Ontario, Kenny et al.
