An -ray structural analysis of the complex W( [[triple bond, length half m-dash]] CCMe)( [[double bond, length half m-dash]] CHCMe)(CHCMe)(MePCHCHPMe) shows a distorted five-co-ordinate geometry about the tungsten atom.
