Resumo

Abstract The absolute viscosity coefficient η and density d x of water—methanol solutions of LiClO 4 , NaClO 4 and NaCl in the concentration range from 0·005 to 1·0 mol/l have been determined for mixtures containing x 2 = 0·11, 0·29 and 0·55 mole fraction of methanol in water. The absolute viscosity coefficient and density of LiClO 4 solutions in water and in methanol as well as those of NaClO 4 and NaCl solutions in methanol have been determined. All measurements were carried out at 25 ± 0·005°C. The same magnitudes have been determined for pure water—methanol mixtures in the whole range of composition of both components at 25 and 35°C. The relative viscosity coefficients η/η 0 has been calculated, and the A and B parameters of the Jones—Dole equation have been determined.
