ResumoAbstract Oviposition behaviour of the jarrah leafminer moth Perthida glyphopa was observed during the seasonal flight period in April‐May. After alighting on trees, the gregarious males restricted their movements to the branches, whereas the solitary females searched for oviposition sites on the leaves. The females laid most eggs at 14–22 °C in diminishing light or overcast conditions, preferring young leaves in the lower portion of the crown. They dispersed more readily than males.
