Resumo

A survey of urban dentists found that willingness to treat HIV-positive patients varies depending on the patient’s relationship to the practice and the extent of the disease. This survey of urban dentists found that willingness to treat HIV-positive patients was not a dichotomous decision. Variables that influence a dentist’s willingness to treat these patients are identified. Other studies and the impact of willingness to care are considered.
