A crossing-symmetric description of data with the generalized Veneziano model

ResumoThe generalized Veneziano model is applied to study the reactions: (A) K+p → Koπ+p, (B) K−p → Koπ−p, (C) K−p → Koπ−p, which are related by crossing. It is found that with the same formula and essentially only one free parameter, one is able to give a good global description of all three reactions at energies ranging from 2.5 to 13 GeV. The possibility of extending the study to further reactions is also briefly considered.
