ResumoX-ray investigations on single crystals of the series of rare-earth compounds Na5RESi4O12 with RE as Sc or Y were carried out at room temperature and 300°C. They show a dependence of the inner symmetry of the main conductive channels on the type of the RE ion. A simple analysis of the conductivity mechanism is presented.
