ResumoThis splendid work places within reach a single reference source for the many issues of patient management and potential complications in the currently evolved practice of radiology. It includes not only complications related to the wide range of interventional procedures, but also the elements of biologic risk inherent in the use of isotopes and diagnostic equipment such as fluoroscopes, computed tomography scanners, ultrasound machines, magnetic resonance imagers, and even different types of lasers. Many examples of technique are presented, and preventive measures are emphasized throughout. In this expanded and updated version, the two editors from the United Kingdom of the previous edition are joined by two new US editors. Additionally, there are 71 contributors from the United Kingdom and the United States, and one each from Ireland and Australia.
