Resumo

Data are presented for the12C(16O 14O)14C reaction at an incident energy of 128 MeV populating the 0 +, 3 − and 4 + levels of14C. The data are analyzed using exact finite-range Born approximation calculations including simultaneous, sequential and non-orthogonality contributions. A preliminary analysis is made of the single-nucleon transfer reactions using the DWBA, in order to test the bound state and optical-model parameters. The sequential cross section apparently dominates the theoretical cross section and it seems to be an adequate approximation to the total cross section for the 0 +, 3 − and 4 + levels of14C, predicting the absolute cross sections to within 15%.
