ResumoThe objective of this study was to investigate the quality of life in work (QVT) perceived by Physical Education teachers from state public net of RS, considering the different cycles of professional development that characterize the educational career. Were part of the investigation, 380 teachers of Physical Education, selected in random and proportional stratified way. For the data collection was used the Scale of Evaluation of the Quality of Life in Work Noticed by Teachers of Physical Education of the Fundamental and Medium Teaching (QVT-PEF). The results evidenced high levels of teachers' satisfaction in relation to his/her QVT, however the dimension remuneration and compensation was the only in which the teachers showed to be unsatisfied in all the cycles of professional development. It is concluded that with the progress in the career, the teachers are more satisfied with QVT.
