ResumoAbstract Retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) photographs can be used for detection of early glaucomatous damage and in the follow-up of patients with established glaucoma. Enlarged black-and-white paper-prints taken with a wide-angle fundus camera as well as stereophotographs of the peripapillary retina have proven quite useful. This article gives a detailed description of both the photographic and the laboratory techniques involved in the process of making good quality RNFL photographs.
