ResumoFifteen visible mutations in the screw-worm fly, Cochliomyia hominivorax (Coquerel), were studied. Two are dominant mutations lethal in the homozgyous condition; the remaining 13 are recessive (10 autosomal mutations and 3 involving the X chromosome). Studies of the differential viability of the stocks and a preliminary linkage map for the mutant genes are presented.
