ResumoDiaryl ketones and chalcones are obtained in good yields by palladium-catalyzed carbonylative coupling of diaryliodonium salts and (E)-phenylethenyl(phenyl)iodonium tetrafluoroborates with potassium aryltrifluoroborates in an atmosphere of carbon monoxide under mild conditions.
