Pediatric Neurosurgery, 3rd Edition is a very well written, comprehensive text that offers detailed disease descriptions but has very little information regarding operative technique. The Atlas of Pediatric Neurosurgery provides the surgical details of the most common cases encountered in a pediatric neurosurgical practice. Interested readers include residents and fellows rotating on such a service who want to familiarize themselves with general "blueprints" for the next day's operative cases. The text covers all the major neurosurgical procedures peculiar to pediatric neurosurgery, which are often neglected in standard texts of neurosurgical operative technique.
