ResumoSummaryGreater understanding of the cellular interactions associated with tissue factor (TF), activated factor (F) VII and TF–FVIIa complexes is likely to provide considerable clinical benefit. This article reviews current knowledge on the function and regulation of TF and its role in a range of biological processes, including hemostasis, thrombosis and inflammation.
