Resumo

A variant of Pavlovian conditioning, termed the releaser-induced recognition-learning model, is introduced, described, and evaluated for generality and efficacy in accounting for learning phenomena. Elements of the innate releasing mechanism of classical ethology are combined in the model with the transfer-of-control version of Pavlovian stimulus substitution
