ResumoIn situ and ex situ Raman analyses of porous Ni/CGO electrodes reveal differences in the amount, location and type of carbon formed during CO/CO 2 electrolysis. The majority of the carbon forms in the region of the anode, which lies in the range of ca . 4 micrometers from the electrode–electrolyte interface.
