Resumo

A novel two-dimensional network structure formed by molybdenum(V) phosphate and manganese coordination cations, [Mn2Mo12O30(HPO4)8(H2O)]·(NH3CH2CH2NH3)6·3.5H2O (1), was synthesized hydrothermally and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1¯, with a = 12.006(2) Å, b = 14.582(3) Å, c = 21.270(4) Å, α = 86.00(3)°, β = 88.00(3)°, γ = 78.00(3)°, the final R converged to the value 0.0604 for 12 917 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). In this compound, the poly(oxomolybdophosphate) anions are interconnected by transition-metal manganese cations to form an extended two-dimensional framework where the uncoordinated ethylenediamine cations and lattice water molecules are located.
