Religion and Society in Latin America

This thesis conducted a literature search on the concept of secularization of the philosopher Gianni Vattimo.The aim was to show that the secularization does not represent a threat to christianism, but achieves its own message.Two, as well, were the conclusions drawn: The first is that secularize itself is typical of the occident.The second one indicates that the idea of secularization replaces and at the same time expands the concept of weak ontology that largely has been used to express the framework of the "Vattimian philosophy".
